National Energy Awareness Month

It’s national Energy Awareness Month and the cellulose insulation manufacturers applaud the country’s focus on this critical topic. Conserving energy and lowering our nation’s dependence on foreign oil is in everybody’s best interest. One of the easiest ways to conserve energy is to improve the insulation in homes. Blown-in Cellulose Insulation offers one of the best options for sealing the attics and walls of houses. It can save thousands of dollars in reduced energy bills over the life of a dwelling. Just as importantly, it offers several wonderful environmental advantages over other types of insulation.

  • Cellulose Insulation is made from recycled paper which diverts tons of waste that might otherwise end up in landfills to decompose and release harmful gases into the environment.

  • Cellulose Insulation  has a very low embodied energy level so there is little pollution and carbon released into the atmosphere as it is manufactured.

  • Cellulose Insulation, as a wood-based product, creates a nature carbon sequestration when the carbon in paper cells is trapped for years in the attics and walls of a home.

Please comment if you have cellulose in your home or if you plan to add it in the future. It will do a great job of insulating your home and a world of good for the rest of the world!

I installed cellulose insulation in my attic last year. What a difference it has made in lowering my energy bills!

Now planning to install cellulose in the walls for a total solution for my 1930's house. Looking forward to even lower energy costs and the sound deadening effects.

I live in Florida and am amazed at how many friends and neighbors don't have any insulation (or very little) in their homes. They are pouring money down the drain every month!
