The CIMA board appoints special committees of members that focus on specific areas critical to the cellulose insulation industry and the membership. Current CIMA committees and members include:
The CIMA Marketing Committee is responsible for directing all marketing initiatives directed by the CIMA Board. CIMA’s mission includes promoting the benefits and advantages of cellulose insulation by disseminating current and accurate information to consumers, construction industry professionals and insulation contractors. The Marketing Committee manages the CIMA website, marketing programs, tradeshow displays and other communications and marketing conducted by the association.

The CIMA Technical Committee is responsible for directing all technical initiatives related to cellulose insulation as directed by the CIMA Board. CIMA’s mission includes promoting best practices for the manufacture and installation of cellulose insulation products and works with its members, regulatory agencies and other organizations on technical matters relevant to cellulose.

CIMA membership is open to all manufacturers of cellulose insulation, suppliers to the industry, allied professionals and others associated with the manufacture and installation of cellulose insulation products.
The CIMA Membership Committee is responsible for directing recruitment, retention and relations of members as directed by the CIMA Board. CIMA’s mission includes fostering interaction and a spirit of cooperation between cellulose insulation producers, suppliers and others to the benefit of the industry and betterment of cellulose insulation products for consumers.
